psych_minded asked: My boyfriend neeeeds to quit smoking, he smokes like more than a pack a day! But! He doesnt have health insurance, and i have great health insurance through my job. Are there any potential dangers to getting him a prescription for chantix on my health insurance ? (i socially smoke so it wouldnt be a huge stretch at the docs office) Could it increase my insurance costs to admit that i am a “smoker” to insurers?

hanky stank asked: Had a car accident and was in the hospital for close to a week. Health insurance covered everything except copays and deductible. The car insurance is waiting to see if my health insurance is going to ask for reimbursement before they pay out anything.
Seeing that I pay my health insurance premiums for situations like this, can they ask for reimbusement?

I don’t know what all the terminology means like PPO and deductibles, etc. Also, I have a history of sinus problems and am looking to get covered in case I need surgery. Preferrably, I’d like small doctor visit charges, drugs covered, and major things like hospital stays/surgery to be 100% covered. Any thoughts I would really appreciate! Thanks!

Joo asked: My boyfriend was going to add me to his health insurance since I didn’t have any. It is going to be an extra $320/month for me. I have heard if you are married it is cheaper. Is this true? I am just wondering… I am not getting married just to get cheaper health insurance! LoL.
I know 2 people on the policy is more expensive but I wondered if you are married if it is cheaper for a couple to be on the policy than an unmarried couple or if marital status doesn’t matter.
