My wife and I currently have coverage with her job…but she is thinking about going part-time, which of course won’t include coverage. How much would health insurance cost us? We’re both in our mid-20’s and in good health.

I actually work at State Farm Insurance and my health insurance is $69 and I’m an 18 year old non smoker. If you smoke it will be about 50 dollars more. If you get preferred (no medications) it will be about $100. If not, around $130. Go to statefarminsurance.com to find an agent.
Assuming that you are in good health condition & doesn’t have any pre-existing medical conditions, you shouldn’t have much trouble finding something less expensive than $350 a month either way you go, but your options are going to vary a lot depending on where you live. You have to talk with a local health insurance agent or visit an online agency…
Be honest,It is gonna take some time to find the answer for your question.Try to have a look the resource here for reference.
It all depends on where you live, and what kind of coverage you want. Each state has its own health insurance market and rates can vary widely. If you’re both young and healthy you may be able to find some fairly affordable options, however the most affordable plans are going to be those with higher deductibles. If you don’t visit the doctor often, this may be a fine option for you, since it will still protect you in case of serious illness or hospitalization. But if you want to get coverage with little or no deductible, or if you visit the doctor often, then you may want to check out other options that might have a higher monthly premium.
My advice is to talk with a licensed agent who represents multiple insurance companies in your area. That way you can get a broader view of what’s available than any single insurance company can provide. It doesn’t cost anything extra to work through an agent and it can help you find a better match for your needs and budget.
You can also learn a lot about your options through a licensed online agency like eHealthInsurance.com, where I work. Through our website, for example, you can review quotes and compare plans and see customer reviews before you apply for coverage. We also have licensed agents who can help you over the phone at 1-800-977-8860.
Hope that helps – good luck!
