Lund Saab asked: The health insurance i get from my job sucks, I’m paying $500 out of pocket per month. My wife and I are both young, barely go to the doctor if at all. The only reason I have insurance is for my 10-month old son’s vaccinations and such. There must be a better type of insurance for me to get, any recommendations?

JLLHokieLavaDog*isaRETARDhahaLOL asked: Hi, I have never bought health insurance before, and I would like to know how I could find out if a particular health insurance provider would cover the costs of me going to a dermatologist and getting Accutane. Can anyone help me?

JimboSlice asked: My wife and I currently have coverage with her job…but she is thinking about going part-time, which of course won’t include coverage. How much would health insurance cost us? We’re both in our mid-20’s and in good health.

annettemrichter asked: Someone who has been smoking for 7 years and wants to quit- and has access to fairly good health insurance- does anyone have experience getting health insurance to cover cost of medications, etc for quitting smoking? I know this depneds entirely on the plan- but I am curious about the procedure?
- did you have to get medication prescribed, etc

AK asked: I was denied new health insurance coverage in May 2007 because of lower back pain in January 2007 for which I received physical therapy. I have had continuous health insurance coverage for more than 2 years with no history of back ailments. If I reapply again now (for coverage starting in September), am I likely to be denied again? Is there anything I can do about it? My group coverage through work is very costly, and I’d prefer to have a more affordable plan.

three_holepunch_haircut asked: I am about to turn 23, and I will not be eligible on my parent’s insurance plan anymore and I am now looking for new health insurance. My school does have an insurance plan, but it is $1800 annually. This seems pretty expensive to me. I am on no prescription medications with no preexisting conditions, and I am not overweight. I live in the Overland Park, KS area. Would you suggest applying online, or could you give any recommendations for websites?

Carrie Ann asked: We recently got a quote for health insurance for $614! That is with employer paying half of employee’s portion. Am I crazy or is this a bloated amount?
