Michael C asked: What is the best health insurance after separation from the military?
I am pretty healthy, and for now I’m looking to stay cheap and just cover all the bases. I’m not married, but adding a spouse eventually is important.

conscience asked: My wife was diagnosed with R/R Multiple sclerosis a couple of years ago. We were living overseas and had company provided insurance at that time. Our insurance was dicontinued when our employment ended. We have moved back and are looking for Health insurance here. We tried Cobra but the lapsed time was more than 6 months between coverages so we were declined. Are there any other options?

tnfyh asked: Hi,
I suffer from toenail fungus, and I’ve tried ALL home remedies available without success. I’m also about to buy health insurance. I thought I would take this opportunity to finally visit the doctor and get rid of this problem. My questions are:
1. Which health insurance plans offer the best coverage to treat toenail fungus?
2. Do they cover the medication and the surgery required in some cases to remove the toenail?
Thank you for all your help!

Tisha S asked: I have health insurance with my employer and it only covers 80% of the expenses. If I go to the doctor will they bill me for the 20% I have to pay out of pocket, or will I have to pay right then.

beach_bum asked: My boyfriend works for the government (Air Force, to be exact) as a civilian (NOT enlisted - whole different ball game as far as benefits are concerned). He gets health insurance coverage for himself, but we’re trying to figure out if the government offers health insurance coverage for significant others of civilians.
Any ideas?

Geoff asked: My wife is pregnant and we are looking for coverage while I am in-between jobs. We don’t qualify for access because my wife will make too much and COBRA is expensive but it is the only option that I seem to have because all other insurance companies say that pregnancy is a “pre-existing” condition. Does anyone know of any temporary health insurance I could use? I’d also rather not get a discount plan.

x2hornsx1halox asked: I applied for Antea Health insurance a few months back. I had to cancel it because I was not able to afford the exam they needed for my family. Is there any insurance companies that do not need the exams? I haven’t had one in years. I really need to get some insurance because I have a 20 month old son. Any suggestions? I have looked online but I can’t afford more than $200.00 a month.

kerfitz asked: Health insurance costs are extraordinary, Hillary and OBama want to force people to buy health insurance (and subsidize the costs for some) but they fail to address the reasons health insurance is so expensive. Medical malpractice insurance costs doctors more than most people make a year, and Insurance companies answer to their stockholders before their customers are two of the main reasons it is so expensive. It seems that insurance companies are the ONLY winners in the field of medicine. The democrat solutions to the “health care crisis” only masks the problem.
Whimsey… it didn’t work with car insurance did it? everyone is supposed to have it and the costs continue to soar. How will health insurance be different?
